| Lake Whitney approx 1 1/2 hours from the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and 45 minutes from Waco . From Hillsboro take Texas Highway 22 West. Cross the Lake Whitney dam. Turn right on FM 3118 at the Uncle Gus' billboard. When the speed limit changes to 45 make a left on County Road 1700. Turn left on County Road 1710 at the Uncle Gus' sign. Uncle Gus' RV Park & Marina is on the right side of County Road 1710 enter the second gate in the pipe fence. |
